These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") form an agreement between you and PT. Merkha Teknologi Indonesia ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the RekApp mobile application (the "App").

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App and important limitations

RekApp is a personal financial organization tool. It helps you process financial statements, review transaction information, categorize spending, and use related features, including an optional AI assistant.

The App is not a bank, financial institution, financial adviser, accountant, tax adviser, lawyer, or investment adviser. Information provided by the App, including information from the assistant, is general information for personal record-keeping only. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and is not a personal recommendation.

You should consult a qualified professional before making financial or other important decisions.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the App.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for activity under your account, and for providing accurate information. Contact us promptly at support@myrekapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Your responsibilities

You may use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must upload only documents and information that belong to you or that you are authorized to process.

You must not:

  • access or attempt to access another user’s account or data;
  • interfere with, disrupt, probe, or bypass the security of the App;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, copy, modify, or create derivative works from the App except where applicable law does not permit this restriction;
  • use automated means to access the App without our permission;
  • resell, redistribute, or misuse the App; or
  • upload unlawful, malicious, infringing, or unauthorized content.

4. Automated processing and accuracy

The App uses automated systems, including AI-powered tools, to extract and categorize information. These systems can make mistakes. Information may be incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, missed, or categorized incorrectly.

You are responsible for reviewing information against your original records and should not rely on the App as your only financial record or as the basis for a material decision.

5. Your content and privacy

You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to process that content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Plans, purchases, and refunds

Some features may be free and others may require a paid plan or purchase. Current prices, included features, free-use limits, and renewal terms are shown in the App before you purchase.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies. Where a subscription renews automatically, you may manage or cancel it through your Apple account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid period unless otherwise stated by Apple.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled according to Apple’s policies and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App from time to time. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the App at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, to protect the App or other users, or if we discontinue the App. On termination, your right to use the App ends. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of the App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or mandatory consumer rights.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice as required by applicable law. If your consent is required for a change, we will ask for it. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the App.

12. Apple terms

If you download the App through Apple’s App Store, you acknowledge that:

  • these Terms are between you and us, not Apple;
  • Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App;
  • Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the App, except as required by applicable law;
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you; and
  • you must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.

13. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them in connection with a business transaction.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us concerning the App, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
